Durian is in the season now! My friend asked me for a durian cake, so I gave her a durian cake

This cake was covered heavily with lots and lots of durians! The spike were piped using Royal Icing and was put back into the oven to bake to create the browning effect. I’ve tasted it, it’s nice and personally I found that even though it’s cover with royal icing, it wasn’t that sweet after all and the “shell” was crunchy too.

Why is it blue? or I am colour blind?

No, it’s not blue, but it does appear blue in the photo
I think it’s due to the my lighting.

lighting as in your overhead lights or your camera lights? It shouldn’t turn the photo blue. Maybe yellow. I did see green at the base of the cake. The cake box is also blue.
